Autumn is one of the most stunning seasons here in Minnesota. It’s a short window of time (like our summers) to wear your cute boots, skinny jeans, and sweaters that you have been dying to show-off without having to cover it all up with a 10 lb- down-parka. (And that isn’t far away sad to admit). A time when you can still sit outside around the fire drinking autumn-flavored wines and beers. We also have some of the most beautiful scenic spots in the country to watch the leaves turn color. I find Minnesota to be the most inspirational place for autumn. All of the colors, smells, textures – it really is marvelous. What’s wonderful about it is you can bring the glorious outdoors inside! Decorate the home for Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving, and those last autumn girl’s nights! Using pumpkins as decorations and centerpieces are a great and inexpensive way to set the mood for an autumn-night-in and your holiday dinners.
