8 Dessert Cocktails That Are Better Than Cake

There are many dessert cocktails recipes out there to try (trust me:)). The most popular ones usually involve chocolate, in a martini glass. So delish! Stephie and I tried out some great (no, absolutely divine!) little dessert treats with an added vodka-bonus 🙂 We tried out our favorite dessert we love to have at girls’ nights, get-together and dinner parties; shook them in a martini glass or blended them in the Ninja and WaLa! Dessert cocktails.

We had mini-martini tasting glasses, so the servings were a bit smaller than what the recipes call for – we we could share! And try them all 🙂

1 – Tiramisu Martini

What do you need?
  • 1.5 oz coffee liqueur (I used Starbucks brand)
  • 1.5 oz RumChata
  • 1.5 oz Godiva chocolate liqueur
  • 1.5 oz Dunkin’ Donuts Espresso iced coffee
  • Garnish: Whipped cream, cocoa powder, Milano cookies, chocolate syrup
How do you make it?

You are going to need a shaker for this drink. Mix all the liquid ingredients together in the shaker, and pour in to the martini glasses (enough for 2 martinis). Then, ass in the Milano cookie, add some whip cream on top, and then sift some cocoa powder on top.  AND DONE! This honest to goodness tastes just like tiramisu!

2 – Fight Hunger With A SnickerTini

What do you need?
  • 3 oz Smirnoff Vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz Baileys
  • 1 oz Godiva chocolate liqueur
  • 1/5 oz Frangelico Hazelnut
  • Garnish: chocolate syrup, caramel syrup, mini Snickers,
How do you make it?

Clean out the tiramisu in your shaker, you need it again. First, decorate the inside of teh glass with the caramel or chocolate syrup. Then, shake all the ingredients together for about 30 sec (makes about 2 martinis). Then, garnish with mini Snickers poked on a skewer. 🙂

3 – Cookies & Cream In A Glass

What do you need?
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 Smirnoff Fluffed vodka
  • 1 Box of Oreo Dessert Mix
    • 1.5 tsp filling mix
    • Oreo crumbs
  • Garnish: Mini Oreos, Chocolate syrup, whipped cream
How do you make it?

Rim the glass first with the chocolate sauce and then dip it into the Oreo crumbs that came in the Oreo Dessert box. Then, (in the shaker of course) at in the rest of the ingredients – shake for a good 30 sec (this makes 1 martini). Top it off with as much whip cream as you want! And a mini Oreo of course 🙂

4 – Lemon Meringue Pie

What do you need?
  • 2 oz Limoncello Liqueur
  • 1 oz Smirnoff Fluffed vodka
  • 1.5 oz lemonade
  • 1/2 oz half and half
  • Garnish: graham cracker crumbs, whipped cream
How do you make it?

Rim the glass again! Use some of the Limoncello or a lemon to get it wet, then dip it into the crushed up graham crackers. Next, pull out that shaker one last time! And mix together the liquors, lemonade, and half and half. Add some of that whip cream that you love, eh?! Added bonus: sprinkle a few more of those graham cracker crumbs on top. Tastes like granny’s homemade pie!

5 – Orange-Sicle Milkshake

  • 5 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 2 oz orange soda
  • 1/5 oz Grand Marnier orange liqueur

Time to switch appliances – move over shaker, we need the blender (aka the Ninja!) Add in your ice cream, pour in the soda, orange liqueur and vodka. Blend until its well mixed. Top with as many or little orange slices as you wish!
