My event-planner-cousin, Nicole and I had so much fun at Schram Vineyards last night for our Happy Hour event! The estate is beautiful, views are amazing, and the wines and beers are very tasty!

We tasted this wine and being a little on the sweet side, I think it would be perfect for a picnic or sitting on the deck enjoying a summer night on its own. Of course it would also pair nicely with dessert or spicy food. (Sweeter wines always help balance spicy food for me!)

Here you can get a glimpse of the bocce ball courts, the vineyards to the right on lovely rolling hills, the lake in the distance, and the new all-weather tasting room under construction. The weather kept looking like it was going to rain on us, but it stayed nice and dry the whole night! I took this pic at the beginning and I’m glad I did, because it got very busy there throughout the night!
