Who’s ready for some football!? Sundays, Monday and Thursday nights I will be watching my boys rush the field and score some touchdowns! Whether it’s college or professional I love me some football! The 2nd best thing about Game Day is the party! The reason why we go to the party is for the food and beer, right?! (you all do.. don’t deny it) And of course the company of our friends. Impress your football fans with some of these delicious traditional and unique recipes.

1 – Homemade Pretzel Bites and Wisconsin Beer Cheese Dip

Super-simple, delicious, salted morsel bites. However, it’s the Beer-Cheese Dip that wins the fans over.

2 – Jalapeno Poppers Wrapped in Bacon

Spice up your spread with some jalapenos wrapped in bacon. Because a party isn’t a party with at least 1 appetizer wrapped in bacon.

3 – Beef and Blue Sliders

A twist on the classic cheese burger slider. Upgrade your slider with thin slices of steak and blue cheese. You will never want a regular slider ever again…

Have at least 1 healthier option to serve at your party. You could even keep a bowl of the garlic/salt mixture on the side so everyone add a little or add a lot or non at all!

5 – Chocolate Chip Cookie, Oreo, and Brownie Bar

We all need a little sweet to balance out the salty. And this Cookie/Oreo/Brownie bar takes the cake. It is a great self-serve dessert to leave out during the game.

6 – Sweet Chili Wings

Here’s a different recipe than your ordinary buffalo flavoring or honey BBQ. Don’t get me wrong, all flavors of wings are delicious! But try another approach that will still impress everyone. Make sure to make enough because these will be one of the first to disappear.

7 – Guacamole

Classic football food: chips and dip. Chips and salsa are still a hit, but Guacamole has been trending big time these last few years – everyone is craving the taste and loving the health benefits of avocados! Chips and Guac are a must!

Add a little kick to your meatballs that will be cooking the crockpot all day.

9 – Coconut Shrimp

A little unconventional to serve at a football party maybe. But coconut shrimp is such a simple way to dress up the overplayed cocktail shrimp. They are easy to eat, and easy clean up too – just make sure to have an empty plate for all the tail shells as everyone eats over to the serving tray.

10 – Pizza Bites

Back to basics. Pizza is the most common food consumed on football game days. Whether its baked at home or delivered. So instead of baking large pizzas or even ordering boxes of pizza that no one may even finish – try making them bite sized. But not the frozen-food pizza bites please… these homemade pizza bites will satisfy their pizza cravings.

These little guys are so adorable everyone will love them. Tacos may not be the first thing you think of when planning your football menu, but when you take the mess of tacos, and make them into bite sized apps, they sure do become popular.
